USAIGC Competitive Team

USAIGC Program

The USAIGC Program provides a well balanced experience for our gymnasts and their families. Our competitive program provides and environment that fosters and nurtures the attributes of a sound mind and body, leading to successful, healthy, well-rounded gymnasts.  The program offers 5 competitive levels, Copper I, Copper II, Bronze, Diamond, Silver.

Who Can Participate?

The USAIGC program is open to all female gymnasts, upon the recommendation of their coach or program director.  Gymnasts must belong to a USAIGC member club, and must become introductory members of USAIGC to participate.  Training is year-round with the competitive season typically starting in mid February and continuing through to the World Meets in early July.  Gymnasts in the USAIGC program typically practice two to three nights per week with a training regimen that generally runs between 4 to 10 hours per week.  This less intensive schedule allows for gymnasts to participate in other activities, be it dance, soccer or piano.
