AMY GRIMES / OWNER

I am Amy Grimes and I founded Gymnastics Etc. in 1999.  I am married to Roger Grimes and we have 2 young children.  I graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development.  My extensive gymnastics background includes: USGF State competitior, training with world renowned Bela Karolyi, and for the past 12 years coached my own students through both recreational and competitive programs.  I got most of my coaching training working for a leader in the gymnastics industry, Jeff Lula.  As a child, I loved the sport of gymnastics, overall it taught me that through hard work and lots of practice I was able to accomplish my own personal goals.  I enjoy teaching students gymnastics because of the life skills they learn.  What's also very important to me is creating FUN memories in the gym where each student can learn, grow,  feel successful, and remember the good times!   I am CPR and USAG safety certified.

AMANDA ROBERTS

Hi, I'm Amanda Roberts and was a gymnast in the USAG program for 10 years.  I advanced up to level 10 by the time I was 10 yrs. old, and competed at the state and national level.  I was a 3 time state champ on beam, floor, and all around.

My coaching career started at age 16 at American Gymnastics in Aurora, coaching the tots and beginner programs, as well as the competitive team girls.

I received a BA in Pyschology at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and coached at CATS gymnastics for six 6 years.

Currently, I am an assistant at Dusty Plains Veterinary in Elizabeth and coaching at Gymnastics Etc.  Some of my other hobbies include horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, knitting and reading. 

ERIC BUECHLER

Hi, I'm Eric Buechler and I've been coaching gymnastics for the past 6 years.  I've received most of my training from coaches and officials from the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.  In addition, I've coached at privates gyms, Aerials in Colorado Springs and Omega in Castlerock.  Currently I'm coaching at Gymnastics Etc, beginner  through team levels.  I love working with the students and teaching them new skills and how to achieve their goals.  I hope to pursue coaching in the years to come as my career, as well as becoming a physical therapist for which I am attending college for.  I am safety certified, CPR and Red Cross certified. 

RACHEL SORENSEN

Hi, I'm Rachel Sorensen and I am a barrel racer, a track runner, and a gymnast.  I am going to be a senior and I attend Elizabeth High School.  I have been a gymnast for 3 years, advancing to a high level in a short period of time.   I am a self taught tumbler who loves to flip and twist  through the air!  I am enjoying the experience as a coach at Gymnastics Etc, working with the young students brings me joy.  I am excited to be a part of the staff.
